Our goal is to experience God, grow in faith, and love others.
The middle and high school years can be exciting, challenging, and full of changes. Our Wednesday night gatherings are designed to be a place where 7th-12th graders feel known, welcomed, and supported as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
We meet every Wednesday at 7:07pm.

What can you expect when you arrive?
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by friendly student leaders who will help you check in and get connected. You’ll meet your small group leaders, hang out, and jump into some fun together before we gather for worship and a message. The night wraps up in small groups: a space to talk honestly, build real friendships, and grow in faith side by side. We can’t wait to meet you!

FAQ
Have questions? We have answers!
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL GATHERING LOOK LIKE?
Check-in begins at 6:30pm at Door K at the back of the building. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been coming for years, our leaders will help you get connected as you hang out in the student café or rec room. Then we head into Teen Haven for games, worship, teaching, and small groups.
WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?
Small Groups are an intentional time to dive deeper into the evening’s teaching and discover how it connects to everyday life. Groups are separated by gender and grade and led by adult coaches who create a loving, safe environment for honest conversation and growth.
WHAT IS THE TEACHING LIKE?
Our teaching is Bible-centered, story-driven, and deeply relatable. We use a narrative approach that invites students into real questions, builds honest tension, and leads them to encounter the gospel in a meaningful way. We don’t talk down to students or avoid hard topics. Instead, we create space for discussion and practical next steps so students don’t just hear about Jesus, they learn how to follow Him.
IS THERE A COST TO PARTICIPATE?
While there is never a cost to come on a typical Wednesday, we do occasionally have paid trips, retreats, or events. We never want cost to be a hindrance from attendance, so we have a Student Scholarship program that any student is welcome to join to help alleviate any costs.
WILL MY TEEN BE SAFE?
Yes, creating both a physically and emotionally safe environment for all teens is a top priority! We have a team of adult coaches who undergo an application process (complete with a background check) who supervise your teen. Teens are never left alone without an adult present. We also have a front desk and security team consistently monitoring the building. For events and trips, we have a minimum of a 1:5 coach to student ratio.
HOW WILL YOU COMMUNICATE TO PARENTS?
We value partnering with parents and want you to feel supported, connected, and informed every step of the way. Each month we send a parent newsletter filled with updates, helpful resources, and important dates. We also stay connected throughout the week on Facebook and Instagram, along with a private Facebook group just for parents and guardians.
If you'd like to receive emails or texts, or join the parent Facebook group, email michaelshetler@maplecitychapel.org and we’ll help you get connected.

STUDENT COACHES
STUDENT COACHES
Student Coaches are trusted adult leaders who invest in students by leading small groups, building relationships, and walking alongside them in their faith. Each week, they help create a welcoming and safe environment where students can grow, ask questions, and belong.
Feeling drawn to invest in students but not sure where you fit? Whether you’re interested in serving with students directly or supporting behind the scenes, we’d love to start a conversation. Use the link below to connect with our team and explore next steps.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
The Student Scholarship Fund helps make mission trips and retreats more accessible by giving students opportunities to earn funds through serving. Many students choose to serve in our Kids or Creative Arts ministries on Sunday mornings, or provide childcare during classes throughout the week, growing in leadership while working toward their next experience.
